                  KOREY SUFKA

                                     Motivational Speaker and Author

A hero is a man who is afraid to run away." - English proverb

                                                    WELCOME

Korey Sufka serves as an advisor to leaders throughout the state. A recognized authority

on the education and prevention of substance abuse, and peak performance, he has been

honored consistently for his strategic intellect and humanitarian endeavors.

More than six years ago, Korey found himself feeling as if the events of the world were controlling

him. Feeling at the end of his rope, Korey one day made a choice. In an instant, he made up his mind

to become a person of substance, someone who would achieve, grow, and contribute at the highest

levels, and experience the profound fulfillment that every person desires and deserves.

At the lowest point in his life, he had a defining moment, one that would shape his heart and soul

for an eternity and create the philosophy that he lives by and shares every day of his life. What

began as a young person's desire to help individuals transform the quality of their lives has grown

into his lifelong crusade as he is called on by leaders from every walk of life, high school principals,

college professors, law enforcement officials, church leaders, advocates for humanity, psychologists,

peak performance athletes, teachers, youth, young adults, and parents.

His nonprofit PROVIDING A PURPOSE provides assistance in various ways to individuals who are currently

experiencing some type of problem associated with drug/alcohol abuse. Korey has directly impacted the lives of

thousands of people throughout the state, with his multimedia products, public speaking engagements, and live

events.

Creator of the D.A.M.A.G.E. Foundation in 2006 and founder of POWERLESS to PURPOSE,

Sufka was a nominee for the Sartell Community Citizen of the year in 2009. Sufka has addressed such

distinguished audiences such as Minnesota Teen Challenge, Saint Cloud State University, Augsburg College,

Saint John's and  Saint Ben's University, Church Leaders of Minnesota, and a countless list of high schools

throughout the country. Korey has been featured on several live radio shows as well as countless television

programs that are aired throughout the country. He has been honored by the Morrison County Record 4 times

(2007, 2008, and twice in 2009), the Saint Cloud Times (2008), the Pioneer Press (2009), the Saint Cloud Visitor (2009),

and recently received an award for the Top 10 Outstanding Motivational Speakers in Minnesota.

"This website is dedicated to my entire family for encouraging me to help others through my presentations, had it not been for your support I do not know if any of this would have been possible. Thanks for pushing me to be the best even at times when I was difficult to be around. I want you to know that I appreciate all of you driving me to do this when I felt like giving up. I love all of you and always will!

Finally to my Mother, Susan LaSota, may you finally rest in peace knowing that your son is trying to be the best that he can be. I love you mom and miss you! And to all of my friends who have supported me! I love you...you all are a blessing from God, and without God...I am nothing." -Korey Sufka
